J. Jarrett Minton III


Jarrett Minton has been active in real estate investment and development since 1990 and has three years of experience in architecture prior to that. Mr. Minton has extensive real estate experience spanning joint-ventures, acquisitions, dispositions, development and investment management; with direct responsibility for projects exceeding $3.1 billion across asset classes and in multiple U.S. markets.

Prior to joining M-M Properties, from 2005 through 2008, Mr. Minton was Senior Vice President with The Lionstone Group where he served as Investment Director for the firm’s flagship Cash Flow Office investment program and was directly responsible for the management of all aspects of this national program and its team of professionals.

Prior to Lionstone, Mr. Minton served as Vice President – Investments and Development with Crescent Real Estate Equities from 2001 to 2005 where his responsibilities encompassed acquisitions, dispositions and development, as well as investment management of the firm’s joint-venture office portfolio.

Prior to Crescent, Mr. Minton served as Vice President of Transworld Properties. During his 9 years with Transworld, Mr. Minton had responsibility for the placement of joint venture equity, acquisition, disposition, direct in-house development, and ongoing investment management of various office, industrial, multifamily and mixed-use projects.

Prior to Transworld, Mr. Minton was an associate project designer with the architectural firm of Turner and Associates where he collaborated in all phases of design and production.

Mr. Minton is an active member of the Urban Land Institute and has served in various national product council leadership roles including Chair of ULI’s Office Development Council. A graduate of the University of Virginia School of Architecture, Mr. Minton earned his MBA from Columbia University Graduate School of Business.
